Employees   Tamarlane is designed primarily to serve the vocational needs of individuals who are mentally or physically challenged.
	Employment and job training are the primary goals.  Referrals are made for other services necessary to achieve the ultimate vocational goal - work and greater independence.  We have several consumers that are now employed outside of Tamarlane in competitive employment.    Being an employee at Tamarlane has many advantages, such as our annual trip to Holiday World, the family picnic and monthly pot-lucks.
Another advantage is the company picnic in which all employees and his/her immediate family are invited to participate.  There is also a Christmas Party, in which there are gifts, food, and fun.  In 2002, the Christmas party fed approximately 150 people.  All of the mentioned activities were made possible with funds from the United way, funds from the community and the Taste of Ohio County.
